A Bridal Shower

I have loved getting to the age where I can throw bridal showers for my friends. Most of the time I still can't believe that we are old enough to be speaking of weddings and marriage but it has been fun to come up with new ideas for every shower. 

Today I was able to throw Allison Huntsman a shower who is marrying Joe Morgan in just 2 weeks! We ate, chatted, played a game of he says/she says, and opened some darling presents! 

I am so happy I get to go to San Diego and see this beautiful couple be married!

A Little Vacay

The roommates decided to take off to Laguna Beach for the long weekend! Our grandparents have a condo that they let us borrow for a few days and we were lucky enough to have bright blue skies and sunshine the whole weekend!

Days were spent walking along the beach, laying at the pool, eating good food, visiting Newport Beach and Balboa Island, watching movies, laughing, and having a really good time! Here are some pictures to prove it!

Valentine's Day

This was my first Valentine's Day as part of a couple and it was a lot of fun! In past years it has always been me and my friends throwing brownie parties or something of the sort for all the other single people we knew. But this year I got a valentine and he did a very good job!

He made dinner reservations at La Jolla Groves and even though it was so crowded that we had to wait an extra 45 min. to be seated we had a great time. The food was well worth the wait and it was fun for us to go out to a fancy dinner like that. Afterwards we came back to my apartment and watched the Valentine's episode of Modern Family. It was the perfect way to finish off such a great night!

Daniel also gave me these gorgeous flowers! I left for California the next day but I took them home for my mom to enjoy and she sent me daily pictures of them so I was still able to appreciate them!
