Intramural Champs

Intramural sports are a big deal at BYU. If you win, you get a t-shirt. It doesn't sound like a big deal but these shirts are coveted at BYU.

A couple years ago I played tennis mixed doubles with my good friend Andrew Holmes. All of our matches were forfeited until the championship match and we ended up losing. This year we decided to join forces once again and we ended up winning in a two day tournament!

I was very very excited about this! I can't wait to wear my shirt around P-town!

Happiest place on earth

The family took off to California for the holiday weekend. We have been training for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon for a few  months now and the time had finally arrived! We each crossed a finish line-my dad and Allie doing a 5k and me, my mom, and Kacey doing the half marathon.

We woke up between 4 and 5 am every morning and we were in bed by 9 every night. But we made sure to hit the theme parks and even made it to Palm Springs for a day to get a little relaxation by the pool before heading back home to the freezing cold!

So much snow!

Snow, snow, snow! My parents were in Sun Valley for the weekend so when I got home Friday afternoon I couldn't even get into my driveway. It was covered in about 18 inches of snow. Luckily, I was able to call Daniel to come help me shovel. An hour and a half later we were wet, cold, and the driveway was almost snow free!

With all the snow we decided to go snowshoeing the next day up Millcreek Canyon. What an adventure it was. The way up was nice but the way down turned into a falling, snow fight, cold mess. Once we decided to go off the path and slide down the hill things turned interesting. But it made for lots of laughs!

Now it's Monday which means I am back in Provo at school and leaving the apartment in this freezing cold weather seems unbearable. But that's what a winter in Utah is all about!
