A Lake Powell Weekend

It doesn't feel like summer until we are in Lake Powell and luckily we get to go every Memorial Day. We had a fabulous trip with good weather, good water, good company, and lots of activities! It is the one place you can always count on all 5 of us making it down there together!

     

I'm lucky I found a guy that loves it as much as I do but then again how could you not?

A Happy Birthday!

Today is Daniel's birthday. We figured out last night that we met 4 years ago today at his birthday party! Between going away for our freshman year of school; me to Hawaii, him to Dixie and a mission this is our first time celebrating his birthday together!

A finals week and a break

Tomorrow I have 3 finals. Today will be spent studying, studying, and more studying. But after tomorrow night at about 9:00 pm I am out of school for the summer. Thursday I will be moving home to Salt Lake. And I could not be more excited!

A 22nd Birthday

My birthday came too fast and definitely went too fast. Birthday's have always been a big deal in my family and mine is no exception but every year I still feel overwhelmed with all the love that is sent my way.

This year my birthday started in Sun Valley over Easter weekend. My family wasn't going to get together on my actual birthday so we decided to celebrate a couple days early. We had such a great weekend doing fun Easter activities and all being together!

My birthday was on Tuesday and I was going to be in Salt Lake all day so my roommates did a little pre-birthday on Monday night with a delicious cupcake and birthday banners!

On Tuesday I was able to spend the morning with my best friend Lizzy and then head to Salt Lake for lunch with my parents, Allie and my grandparents. It was such a fun and relaxing afternoon. Unfortunately, I had to go to class that night but then my parents were off the hook and I celebrated the night away with my cute date Daniel. And I don't know how this happened but we didn't take one picture that night!

I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you for all the birthday wishes and love. I felt so special by how many people took the time to acknowledge my day. My heart was completely full! Thank you, thank you, thank you, to all those who made it such a fabulous day!

A little reminder

I feel like I have been in my own little world the past couple weeks but it is only because there have been so many moments that I have wanted to absorb and take in. I wanted to escape the outside world and enjoy the spring weather, time with friends, and those little moments that can make a day so great!

A San Diego Wedding

I was excited to be apart of my  first destination wedding this past week. It was a quick 24-hour trip but completely worth it! Joe and Allison have now been engaged for over 4 months and I can't believe that now their day has come and gone. It could not have been any more perfect-those words come from the bride herself!

The weather held out for us and rained at all the right times (whenever we were inside and not in need of pictures) The San Diego temple was beautiful, the setting at the Del Coronado was gorgeous, and the luncheon went off without a hit. It was a complete success! Here comes an overload of pictures!

They are now on a plane to Mexico for a week! I feel so lucky that I was able to be apart of this amazing day. I have loved these two as individuals and a couple for a very long time and could not be more happy for them!

A Piano Recital

I have been playing the piano for most of my life and it is truly one of my passions in life. I am minoring in music down at the Y and I go up to Salt Lake once a week to take lessons my from my teacher. This past week I had a recital and I was lucky enough to have the best support group!

My cute parents were going out of town to Sun Valley for the weekend but made sure to stay and here me play before they took off. Lohren decided to come up with me from Provo to watch and of course Daniel came as well. The recital did not go as well as I hoped but it was still a great night of music!
