Lately.

I survived through finals week and have moved back home. It is always nice to be done with school and not have to worry about tests, papers, homework, or grades. Finals week consisted of drinking way to much diet coke, goodbye dinners, and a celebratory slumber party in the living room.

Unfortunately, I did not get much time off. Last weekend consisted of the State Convention where I had to help set up the day before. It was insane. People fighting for spots for their signs and throwing things all over. We finished the day off saying goodbye to our friends who moved to California for summer sales.

An even longer day came Saturday. It was a 6:00 am wake up call to run the Salt Lake Half-Marathon. I finished and headed straight to the convention to hear the votes and speeches. My guy, Jason Buck, didn't win but it was a very good learning experience.

Finally some relaxation came after the weekend. My parents and Kacey have been out of town so Lizzy has been my babysitter. We laid by the pool and shopped at City Creek. I also got to go to the Jazz game and see them get into the playoffs!

Summer is starting!

Studying

Wishing I was in the last stage of this instead of in the 3rd and 4th stages...

Wish me luck!

Sunny Days

I am loving the good weather we have been having lately but of course it has to fall during finals week. Easter was a great day spent at a homecoming, making bunny cakes, matching outfits, easter egg hunts, and time with friends and family.

And of course we had to go see Titanic in 3D. The tears flowed freely as we hoped that maybe Jack wouldn't die this time around. Let's just say... My Heart Will Go On.

Today has been a great day. You all thought my birthday was over didn't you? Well I did too until this little package popped up straight from Korea. There were many knick knacks, treats, and pictures. I have had a smile on my face all day.

It is so nice outside Lizzy and I decided to take a stroll to Sonic for drinks.  Even though we have finals and a lot of stress coming up it was nice to take a moment and enjoy the nice weather.

Only 1 week to go...let the countdown begin!

A 21st Birthday!

I have been overwhelmed the past week with gratitude for the friends and family I have been given. My birthday has gone on longer than I ever expected. There was a great conference weekend and Jazz game to start off the festivities. My actual birthday was full of surprises including breakfast, visit from my mom, treats in class, lunch, nails, dinner, and a surprise party. My day continued on Tuesday when my roommates threw me another party and the festivities ended on Wednesday with a mother/daughter birthday lunch with my favorite birthday girls and another surprise dinner with my wonderful friends from DC. Thank you so much to everyone who sent me texts, emails, messages, calls, and visits. My day was more than I could have expected and I am excited to see what the new year brings!

I can't thank everyone enough!
